GOODNIGHT OR SHOULD I SAY GOOD MORNING. (LISA)

That's fine Lisa, don't stress. its often easier for other eyes to have a look and do the second cut. As to me I didn't actually know where to cut it. Thanks for putting the final pieces together. Thanks to all for such a wonderful time Ive had working with you. You are all such wonderful people. We must have been lucky this semester. Can't wait to see our final results. Enjoy whats left of your holidays. Regards, Amy :o)

Hi Group 31, I thought I would jump in and have a go at creating a Wiki for this task. I hope everyone is ok with me doing this! I am still trying to work out what I'm doing but for now I thought I would put up the task description. I was thinking it might be a good idea if we all had a different colour for our own text and that way it would be easy for us to identify each other without having to sign off our names each time we contributed.

27 Sept We are finally all here!! I'm sorry about any mucking around trying to get it going, hopefully now we can all contribute smoothly. I have copied and pasted some of Julianne and Amy's work, if you guys want to change the colour to what you choose that would be great.

Choose your colour and list it here:

Faye - red

(I hope this is ok)

Assessment Task 3 - Classroom planning and Rationale

Task Description

This is a collaborative group task. You will work in groups of 4 or 5 to plan this assessment task. It is to be a shared task - each group member will have a role to play in the development of the learning sequence. The series of four lessons will be collaboratively developed and assessed as will the rationale.
In assessment task 2 you evaluated three web-based learning resources. In this assessment task you will plan (as part of a group of 4 or 5) a learning sequence using one of the learning resources a member of your group evaluated in assessment task 2 and other ICT-based resources. Your learning sequence must be cross-disciplinary in nature - that is, you must not plan a sequence based on ICT, but rather, must ensure that you are using ICT as a tool for learning.
This learning sequence is to be an inquiry-based project.
In order to undertake this assessment task you must do the following as part of a group of 4 or 5:

  • describe the student cohort (who are you planning for?)
  • craft a question which students will explore (the question must relate to another curriculum area - not ICT)
  • plan a sequence of four lessons through which students will respond to the inquiry you have establised. Each lesson will be 50 minutes in length. Each lesson will build on the one before and provide multiple ways for students to publish their findings
  • provide a list of ICT-related resources you will use in this learning sequence
  • describe how you will use each of these resources to enhance student learning
  • reflect on why these are the most appropriate resources to use for this class to explore this question
  • reflect on the implications of this learning sequence for your teaching practice

One of your group members must submit your assignment through the MyLO assignment drop box. MyLO automatically generates a message to let you know that you have been successful in submitting your assignment.
There are a few things to note with electronic submission:

1. You MUST name your document appropriately, that is, it must be named [names]ESH452Assessment3. If the document you attach through the MyLO drop box does not have the names in the title it will not be deemed submitted.

2. The document you attach in the MyLO assignment drop box must have a .doc file extension. Documents that have a file extension of .docx will not be accepted. If you use Open Office software you will have the capacity to save your document as a .doc file. Please ensure you do this.

3. It is a requirement that you attach a cover page to each assignment. If you cannot work out how to get the cover page to attach to your document without upsetting the formatting you can use [[javascript:showPage(720714475011, 791238851011, 791238849011, '/Unit Outline and Assessment/Cover page.doc', 'WEBCT_NO_ANCHOR_VALUE', '3');|this template]]. On the cover page there is a place to sign your name to indicate that you are familiar with the University’s plagiarism guidelines. You can type your name into this space, but also please note that by submitting your assignment electronically you agree to the guidelines. It is important that you read them, as plagiarism is a serious offence. Please ensure that all group members' names are listed on the cover page.
